A Time To Start Planning For The Gathering Season

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and Hannukah. One more holiday on January 1st to survive and then the earth will bed down for the Winter and start the renewal process all over again in the Spring.

Many of the tribes used winter as a time for healing, reflection, story telling and planning for the migration to the next available food source when the weather warmed. They traveled hundreds of miles from place to place. It was a millenia of experience that kept them alive and helped them store up for the following Winter, too. Life is a cycle in many ways. One way was to adapt to what the earth's timing was for these things.

May a good robe warm you this Winter beside a nice low fire and your children and grandchildren listen to your wisdom with wonder. Share what you can with others who have fallen on hard times and remember that the Creator has made all of this for His pleasure -- especially you.

May your bow find its targets and your enemies be few in the coming year and give thanks for the blessings.
